Breaking Free: Unveiling the Struggle Between 'Getting' and Living
Our conditioning tells us that we must always be busy with getting a good pass rate, getting married, getting a job, getting children, getting to retirement age that we forget to live. We believe that is life.
Until one day, when you ask yourself: Is this all there is?
I have a person who has been saying that they want to come and see me, their life is in turmoil. They feel they are at breaking point. Every time they say I must come and see you it is followed by: but it must be in the evening, but it must be quick, but it must be flexible ... because I have to get my job done.
I can see them struggling and fighting, they overreact and are always in a hurry, but they believe they are "on top of it all".
What happens is that the programming kicks in so hard every time you threaten the status quo, you will be working even harder at "getting something". And when you then lose your work, fall ill, get divorced, etc. the immediate response is to blame something. Anything else, but to stop and look within. Once that question had been asked, it is as though there is a hidden force conspiring to force you to answer that very important life changing question. Blessed are those who reach that point.
Are you busy "getting" all the time, wanting to stop it (honestly with all your heart, I do believe you), but you just can't find the time? You want a sign or advice? Here it is: do something today, before you are forced to get going making the change.
