Exciting news! Grootbos Private Nature Reserve and renowned landscape designer Leon Kluge, invite you to experience South Africa's international award-winning floral display as seen at the 2024 RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London!

A Replica of Excellence on Home Turf

Chelsea Flowers in Stanford replicates the masterpiece that won the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London! gold medal and awards for "Best Exhibit in the Pavilion" and "Best New Design". The 100-square-metre exhibit features some of the Cape Floral Region’s rarest and most charismatic plants that captured the beauty and diversity that enchanted the judges in London.

 
Art and Nature Combined

In addition to the floral display, Chelsea Flowers in Stanford includes an art exhibition with 120 illustrations and vignettes from the Grootbos Florilegium. Florilegium books will be available for purchase, allowing visitors to take home a treasured piece of this remarkable biome’s beauty.

 
A Community Effort Made it Possible

South Africa’s participation at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show was made possible by financial backing from the Grootbos Foundation, Cape Flora SA, Keith Kirsten from Keith Kirsten Horticulture, Marinda Nel, and the Rupert Nature Foundation. Artist Tristan Woudberg, Grootbos Florilegium artist Chris Lochner, and Bulelani Bashe from the Green Futures Nursery team helped to transform Leon’s dream design into a winning reality that gained SA its 38th gold medal at the prestigious show.

 
Ticket Information and Lucky Draw

Entry fees to Chelsea Flowers in Stanford are as follows:

• Webtickets: R175 per person
• At-the-Door: R200 per person
• Kids (under 12): Free

Each ticket purchase receives an entry into a lucky draw with prizes that include a two-night stay for two people at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve!
