Happiness is within you - in your way of thinking and how you view yourself. Nothing and nobody can make you happy, it is a mindful choice and habit. If you cannot find happiness within yourself, then you will miss out on it for the rest of your life.
The easiest and quickest way to experience happiness is through gratitude. Being grateful for your life, for your health, for your abilities and for every new fresh day, will help you live your life with an attitude of gratitude.
However, the lens you choose to view everything around you will determine how you feel about yourself and all that happens to you.
If you are still finding it hard to be grateful for anything, just sit down and close your eyes for a moment. Take a long slow breath... breath... and be grateful for the oxygen while you remind yourself every breath you take is in sync with someone else’s last!
