WEATHER ALERT for 1 and 2 September 2020

Heavy rain is forecast for the Overstrand and SAWS has issued a weather warning for strong winds, high seas and possible flooding on Tuesday (1 September 2020) and Wednesday (2 September 2020).

Difficult driving conditions, power cuts, large waves, and fallen trees are a possibility.

Here's a reminder of the contact numbers you might need for the various emergency services:

• 028 313 8111 for emergencies relating to municipal infrastructure

• 028 312 2400 in case of a fire, flood or medical emergency
