"We’re now at the stage to make the rest of the service road safe in order to open for traffic. The speed limit will be 60km/h and 40 km/h at other areas where so required," said Brian Domingo of EFG Engineers.

He confirmed that it will remain a construction site for the foreseeable future and temporary signs will still be in place in our effort to ensure that traffic adheres to the speed limit.

"The Trunk Road, corresponding to the service road, will be closed for traffic and construction will be done for full width construction," added Domingo.

He concluded that the plan is to have traffic on the service road by 9 September 2020.
