The application process for our ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOP is open! 

Overstrand Municipality's Local Economic Development (LED) department, in partnership with the Grootbos Foundation, offers an amazing opportunity to individuals who want to start their own small business or expanding an original business.

The workshop will cover the basics of entrepreneurship, budgeting and marketing, ending with an opportunity to pitch your small business to a panel for funding to either start or expand your business. 

Applications close on 26 February. 

Join a workshop in your community: 
•    Hawston Thusong Centre: 22, 23, 24 March 2021
•    Gansbaai Tourism Centre: 30, 31, March and 1 April 2021
•    Mount Pleasant Community Hall: 19, 20, 21 April 2021
•    Stanford Community Hall: 27, 28, 29 April 2021
•    Zwelihle Community Hall: 11, 12, 13 May 2021
•    Elim: 2, 3, 4 March 2021

Assistance for entrepreneurs - DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY

Grootbos Foundation, in partnership with Overstrand Municipality's Local Economic Development (LED), offers an opportunity to individuals who want to start their own small business or expanding an original business.

The entrepreneurship programme will start on 2 March 2021. The workshops will be held in Hawston, Gansbaai, Mt Pleasant, Stanford, Zwelhile and Elim.
•    Only 30 participants per area will be selected to take part.
•    Participation is free of charge. 
•    The best ideas will receive support including start-up money and business coaching.
•    Participants will have a chance to present their business ideas one month after the workshop.

Closing date: 26 February 2021

How to apply

Get an application form from the LED office (Hermanus, Hawston, Stanford and Gansbaai) or online (https://forms.gle/42kNMktbTKyU2kZM9) and submit it to LED.
