How To Maintain Your Clutch & When To Replace It

The most difficult part about maintaining your car is when to bring it to a mechanic.

Clutch replacements are one of the easiest things a customer should be able to spot. There are some key signs that your car will show you when it needs a new clutch or clutch repair.

Signs to look out for when you need a clutch replacement are as follows:

- Clutch resistance, when you press on the clutch it will start to become softer as it starts to give issues, this is known as slipping.

- If your car is able to take off on 3rd gear without stalling, you know your car needs a clutch replacement.

- In 3rd and 4th gear if the engine note doesn’t rise and you notice the car isn’t really speeding up, you guessed it, you need a clutch replacement.
