Visit from District Leadership Team:

Our first meeting of 2024 was graced by the presence of District Governor Ann Wright, Assistant Governor Tsie Mogoje, and a fellow Rotarian from York, UK. These visits are not only enlightening but also a lot of fun for our club.

Family-in-Focus Team Initiatives:

We kicked off the year by providing backpacks and basic stationery supplies to our Early Learning Practitioners, supporting a home-based program for preschoolers. This aids families who cannot afford formal preschool education.

Soup Kitchens Update:

Our volunteers are actively running soup kitchens, providing nutritious meals for those in need. We extend heartfelt thanks to our regular donors; your contributions make a significant impact. Donations of fresh produce, leftovers, and washed yogurt tubs are always appreciated.

Sunset Market Raffles:

The January Sunset Market was a success, thanks to everyone who supported us. Businesses or individuals willing to contribute to our raffle hampers are welcome. Your items and vouchers add variety and excitement to these monthly draws.

Completion of Long-Term Project:

A project initiated in 2017 culminated in the official handover of spectator stands for the netball court and soccer field on January 26, 2024. This marks the completion of a dedicated Netball Court project that started in 2019. Special thanks to all involved, including Matt Loxton for the signwriting.

We appreciate the ongoing support from our community and look forward to continued collaboration for the betterment of Stanford.
