STANFORD IN BLOOM

We are excited to share the highlights from our recent newsletter for September 2024! Stanford Animal Welfare has greatly benefited from the Chelsea Flower Show, thanks to the kindness of animal lovers - both locals and visitors. Your generous donations, purchases, and support have provided a much-needed boost to our funds after a slow winter, enabling us to continue our vital work for animals in need.

It was heartwarming to see thousands of people visiting our beautiful village, showcasing not only its charm but also the compassion many have for animal welfare.

Fencing Project for New RDP Houses - Earlier this year, we reached out for assistance to build fences for dog owners moving into new houses. Thanks to your generous contributions, we have provided fencing for 11 homes so far! We continue to appeal for donations to ensure that all animals moving into these houses are safe and secure.

Open Day at the SAWS Cattery - On Heritage Day, we held an open day at our newly completed Cattery at Stanford Security property. Although we had many visitors, we unfortunately couldn't find homes for any of the 13 kitties currently in our care. We kindly ask for your help in finding forever homes for these friendly, sterilized, and inoculated felines.

Appealing for Your Support - As highlighted in our previous newsletter, our feeding program remains a priority. We are committed to ensuring the health of over 100 animals in our community. Your financial contributions or donations of pet food supplies can make a significant difference!

Get Ready for the Festive Season! As you prepare for the festive season, please consider donating your unwanted clothes and household goods to our shop. Donations can be dropped off at our location, or we can arrange for collection. For more information, call us at 064 881 2294. Every item sold helps fund our vital work.

A heartfelt thank you to our regular supporters! Your dedication is the backbone of our efforts.

Upcoming Spay Days: Join us on October 24th and November 7th at the OULAP hall to help control the pet population.

Thank you for your continued support!
