Most people spend years trying to avoid difficult emotions. Yet every trigger carries valuable information. The family member who complains. The friend who repeatedly chooses unhealthy relationships. The person who always seems to create chaos.

Why do they affect you so strongly?

Because somewhere within you, an old emotional wound has already created sensitivity around that experience. Triggers are not evidence that something is wrong with you. They are evidence that something inside you is asking to be healed.

The discomfort is not your enemy. It is your guide.

Healing begins when we stop asking, "Why are they doing this to me?" and start asking, "Why does this affect me so deeply?"
