Objectives and Achievements 2018 - Present
The Overberg Geoscientists Group (OGG) is doing far more than studying rocks. They are inspiring the next generation, supporting schools, creating educational displays, leading fascinating geological excursions, promoting geoheritage, and helping people better understand the incredible landscape we call home.
Since 2018, OGG has worked across the Overberg and beyond to make geology accessible to everyone through school programmes, community projects, guided walks, research, workshops, and partnerships with conservation organisations.
Their latest Objectives and Achievements document highlights the many projects, milestones and initiatives that continue to make a lasting impact on education, conservation and sustainable development.
Take a look at the summary, explore their achievements, and see why geology plays such an important role in our everyday lives.
