Stanford Animal Welfare Society’s Monthly Animal Clinic

Stanford Animal Welfare Society’s Monthly Animal Clinic

SAWS’s monthly animal clinic is back this Saturday, 24 October 2026, after last month’s clinic was rained out!

Held at Anchor Ministries in Blombos Street, the clinic provides basic healthcare for dogs and cats, including vaccinations, deworming and tick and flea treatments.

A team of around five volunteers and a contract nurse help care for approximately 30 dogs and a few cats each month. It’s also a chance to pick up on any more serious health concerns and give pet owners advice on caring for their animals.

The clinic runs from 10:00 to 12:00 and offers an important service to the community, especially for owners who bring their pets on foot.
