Basic life skills to help you get ahead

Good life skills are the basis for having the confidence to believe “I can.”

Having life skills is an important part of being able to meet the challenges of everyday life and how to cope with it.

Cape Whale Coast, in collaboration with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), will be hosting free life skills training workshops for young entrepreneurs and the unemployed.

The workshop programme will address the following topics:

  • Personal development
  • Basic money management
  • Communication
  • Managing time
  • Understanding conflict

Participants should bring certified copies of their ID's as well as their CV's in order to register on the NYDA database.

The life skills training workshops to be held at:

PROTEADORP COMMUNITY HALL, KLEINMOND on:

  • Wednesday, 28 March from 10:00 - 16:00

OVERSTRAND AUDITORIUM, HERMANUS on:

  • Thursday, 29 March from 10:00 - 16:00

GANSBAAI TOURISM BOARDROOM on:

  • Friday, 6 April from 10:00 - 16:00
