Don't Ignore Your Burnout

Burnout is very real. Do you feel heavy in your body, your mind racing, is your emotional levels in overdrive, and you have a deep-seated longing to run away from it all?

You might explain it away as exhaustion or stress. It is, however, time to check in with yourself and find peace, calm, and focus. Time to give your body a break. Time to calm the mind. Time to feed your peace.

We often think if I can have a few days rest all will be good. However, you are not only body. You are not only mind. Even though the body might "relax," the mind never stops. Don't let your health force you to check in with yourself. Prolonged stress, created in the mind, eventually will manifest in the body.

When you feel overwhelmed, the quickest form of taking control is to check in on your breathing. Shallow breathing reinforce the stress. It feeds it. Deep belly breaths will bring calm. Place one hand on your bell and feel the breath. The other on your heart.

Please be kind to yourself. Asking for professional help is a gift you can give yourself, your family, and your business - don't put a plaster on, solve the issue at the core.
