The SEC STOMP (11-12 Dec)

The SEC Stomp – a Music Workshop festival

Friday 11 December 2015
•    Community Centre Workshop
A full sound system will be installed in the centre. The equipment will enable a range of rap, hiphop, beatboxing, breakdancing and spinning the decks(djing) Facilitators will work with Stanford youth
This will take place from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm- 6pm. There is potential to continue into the night as a celebration of the event.

•    Peasants lounge bar workshop  14:00 - 16:00
This workshop will focus on guitar and keyboard musicians. It is hoped that out of the workshop , we will be able to get some songs to be performed in the evenings open mic sessions

Sec Music Festival in Stanford
Friday night 11 December 2015:
Stanford open mic sessions with Wild Lettuce
A stage for local musicians to join up with established musicians to perform their own work and also get involved in jam sessions.
Reinhard from Wild Lettuce will anchor the evening by playing his sets and hopefully bringing local musos into jam sessions

Saturday Workshops

These sessions will be held by our concert mainliners: Riders Connection. Nomadic Orchestra,  Retro Dizzy and JPSon. It will be open to accomplished local musicians to join in.

Saturday Night Concert
Riders Connection, Nomadic Orchestra, retodizzy, jpson  
Music will continue with beats by jp and mauritz till 1am(or 2am if rockin!)
