Heads-up: Weather warning for the Overberg 18 - 23 January 2022

Very high Fire Danger Index (FDI) is forecasted for our region till the end of this week: HOT, DRY AND WINDY WEATHER CONDITIONS AHEAD.

Under these conditions, fires may develop and spread rapidly resulting in damage to property and possible loss of human and/or animal life. 

If you see smoke, please call immediately.

Save these numbers to report a fire:

If you see a fire in the Overstrand, call Oversrand Fire & Rescue on 028 312 2400.

For anywhere else in the Overberg, call Overberg District Municipality (ODM) on 028 425 1690 or goFPA on 063 690 7899.
