This past Wednesday a happy-go-lucky group of Xplorio team members set off from the shores of Gansbaai en route to Betty’s Bay for the second Betty’s Bay Community Presentation. The venue was Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, a love letter to the area’s exceptional plant life. As the Xplorio Team entered the conference centre a simultaneous feeling of joy washed over the Xplorio team in anticipation for what was about to come.
Business owners and community members across Kleinmond and Betty’s Bay glided into the Harold Porter Conference Room to learn about how they can have a cutting-edge online presence, while at the same time assisting Betty’s Bay in having an inspirational online presence. After some coffee and light conversation, Dr Sanja Lutzeyer started the Xplorio Community Presentation. She shared with everyone in attendance the massive opportunity the internet has created for businesses, but also the shortcomings that have become the norm. She explained how, through Xplorio, local business owners can boost their business and take back control of how they and their town are represented online.
Here are the business that joined Xplorio at the second Xplorio Betty’s Bay Community Presentation: Brigadoon Village, Tides Restaurant & Hooked on Clarence, Belinda Leontsinis Ceramics, Meridian Realty, Kogelberg Arts Group, Overstrand Municipality Hangklip Kleinmond, The Trail House, Hangklip Gemeenskapsorgsentrum, Overstrand Bike Hire, Padstal, W.I.N.G.S, Raymond Smith Architectural and Heritage Practitioner, Meraki B&B, St Francis Anglican Chapelry, Vlei Studio Self-Catering, African Timber Agents, Rooi Els Ratepayers Association, Troula Goosen and Lien Botha.
Thank you, Betty’s Bay, for the amazing turnout and support. We look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
