Lockdown Level 3 Short Summary
A short summary relating to ALERT Level 3 that will start on 1 June 2020.
All economic activity is permitted, with a few exceptions where the risk of transmission is high with strict precautions to keep transmission low, and additional measures to contain outbreaks in hotspots.
All retail permitted, with strict health protocols in place.
Alcohol will be sold under strict conditions and on specified days.
High-risk activities and locations would remain closed, including restaurants, bars and taverns, accommodation and domestic air travel, conferences, events, entertainment and sporting events, beauty and hair care.
There is no curfew on the movement of people.
You must remain at home, except to travel to work, purchase goods, seek medical care or attend schools and universities when these reopen.
Schools would be reopened starting with grades 7 and 12, but no parent would be forced to send their child to school if they had concerns about safety.
Additional restrictions on movement apply in hotspot areas.
Exercise permitted at any time during the day, but not in groups.
All public gatherings are prohibited.
All public transport may operate subject to directions, as well as limited domestic air travel for work purposes.
