Kindly note that beaches and other public amenities such as parks, sports grounds, fields and swimming pools would unfortunately remain closed (except for inter alia the training of professional athletes).

ABLUTION FACILITIES at swimming beaches and tidal pools as well as sports grounds and community halls are thus still closed due to the national coronavirus lockdown regulations.

The Fernkloof, Kleinmond and Rooiels Nature Reserves are open and the toilets at the visitors’ centre are open for hikers. The picnic area and public facilities at Fernkloof gardens remain closed.
