Relaxed Adjusted Level 3 Lockdown: OVERSTRAND CARAVAN PARKS

Addressing the nation on Monday night, 1 February 2021, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that South Africa’s adjusted level 3 lockdown regulations will be relaxed following a decline in Covid-19 transmissions.

The following regulations have been relaxed under Covid-19 level 3 lockdown:

1. Curfew relaxed from 11pm to 4am.

2. Religious gatherings allowed for 50 people indoors and 100 outdoors.

3. The sale of alcohol off site allowed from 10am to 6pm, from Monday to Thursday.

4. Beaches and parks are open subject to health protocols.

In view of the above regarding beaches and parks, Overstrand municipal caravan parks remain open with

limitation of number of campers allowed.

HAWSTON DAY CAMPING:

• May proceed with bookings for day camping only at 50% capacity.

• No overnight camping.

ONRUS CARAVAN PARK:

• May proceed with new bookings at 50% capacity only.

KLEINMOND CARAVAN PARK:

• Remains open at 50% capacity.

• The guest limit is four people per camp stand.

PALMIET CARAVAN PARK:

• Remains open at 50% capacity.

• The guest limit is four people per camp stand.

GANSBAAI CARAVAN PARK:

• Remains open at 50% capacity.
