What is your larger than life goal?

Early this morning a client called to ask: Do I do the "huge" goal - so outrageous that other people might think I have lost it - or do I let it go and set a smaller goal?

The first question is, why do you doubt yourself and second why do you set your goals by the expectations of other people? And lastly, it might take too long.

We are often worried about the time it will take. What is time, but a constraint set by man - there is "no" time. We are willing to use the concept of time as a driving force, loading ourselves with stress and setting ourselves up for failure.

Along your path to your goal, there will be so many skills you will gain along the way. You will take a journey of self-discovery and growth. That is why you are here - to experience this life you have. Chances are good that the ultimate goal might change over time, for the better and that is wonderful.

The answer: Set the big goal. Keep your eye on the big goal and build your steps daily, monthly, and annually to achieve that amazing, larger than life, goal that makes you tingle inside, that lets you dream and you cannot stop talking and thinking about it. Set THAT goal. And then show up every day for yourself - be committed to you.

What is your larger than life goal? Will you work towards it today, or will you sell yourself short?
