Overstrand Municipality herewith advises consumers that from 30 June 2020, the Auxiliary method of payment on electricity purchases will be re-instated to overdue accounts.
The decision was necessitated due to the municipality’s careful financial considerations since implementation of lockdown towards the end of March 2020.
If your account is up to date or if arrangements have been applied for and honoured, the Auxiliary will not apply.
