Remembrance Day 2020

MOTH Seagull Shellhole conducted a memorial service in remembrance and commemoration of our fallen soldiers. Lest we forget. This is done annually to commemorate the fallen for every war since WW1.

The service was restricted to invitation only this year in order to maintain health and safety protocols due to COVID-19 regulations. The image at the Hermanus cenotaph (from left to right) is Deputy Old Bill Joe Schoeman, Deputy Mayor Elnora Gillion, Colonel H. Saayman (retired), Peter Goldie Old Bill. The MOTH's will be attending the annual memorial ceremony being held at the Hermanus Cemetary on Armistice Day, colloquially known as Poppy Day, Wednesday, 11 November 2020.

All veterans, family and friends of the MOTH are able to become members or friends of the MOTH to support this worthy cause. If you would like more information, please contact MOTH Seagull Shellhole directly.
