Newly installed 3 phase Victron and Fronius ESS (energy storage system) with 21kW of solar power and 60kW.h of Lithium battery storage with premium Freedom Won batteries.
Victron Remote Monitoring Console
The 15kW Fronius grid-tied inverter provides direct solar power conversion to power the 3 phase heat pump for underfloor heating and domestic hot to water (combined with solar thermal heating).
The Fronius inverter is connected to the AC outputs of the 3 Victron Quattro 8kVa inverter chargers. Excess solar power is then automatically used to charge the batteries together with a DC Victron SmartSolar charge controller. Once the batteries are fully charged any further excess solar can be fed back into the grid for a credit.
