Vacancy in Hermanus: Financial Consultant
My client in Hermanus is recruiting for a Financial Consultant to join their team for a one-year fixed term contract.
Requirements:
a) Extensive experience (+5 years) as Financial Consultant.
b) Valid Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Regulatory Exam (RE5) required.
c) Solid experience in Salesforce CRM not a requirement but will be advantageous.
d) More than five years’ experience in a reasonably complex process-orientated environment, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
e) Exposure to and/or theoretical knowledge of FICA legislation required.
a) In-depth knowledge of financial emigration and associated services.
b) Solid systems knowledge - familiar with and comfortable with working on required applications such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp
c) Knowledge of Salesforce advantageous.
d) Excellent communications skills, verbal and written (Afrikaans & English a must).
• Ability to write clearly, courteously, and professionally with excellent e-mail etiquette.
• Confident communication with clients across various social media platforms.
• Public speaking skills.
• Ability to distil complex issues into succinct and easily understood language to convey key messages.
e) Relationship management with various stakeholders (establish, develop, and maintain relationships.
f) Strong interpersonal skills coupled within a resilient yet enthusiastic life disposition, including the ability to remain calm in dynamic situations and project with sunny poise and aura.
g) Demonstrated and applied knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
h) Excellent collaboration skills to deliver cohesive outcomes.
i) Excellent networking skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
j) Experience with sales techniques and strategies to meet customer and business needs and objectives.
k) Proven ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously, while also working successfully within a team.
l) Proven organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.
m) Strong attention to detail and follow through.
n) High degree of initiative and motivation.
o) Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative, and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate, and influence a broad range of people at all levels in a medium sized corporate environment.
p) An ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
