Hermanus Rainbow Trust is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children a little brighter.
Every year, the organisation hosts a Christmas party for these children.
Excitement is running high because like all little girls and boys around the world, Christmas is at the top of the events calendar! At this time of year, the youngest in our community go to sleep at night dreaming about all the things that many children take for granted, like having unlimited fun, making new friends, and eating lots of cake! This celebration also means getting to meet Santa and opening a few presents!
This year, the Christmas party is scheduled for the 17th of November, 2023.
Orphaned and Vulnerable Children
Rainbow Trust’s Orphaned and Vulnerable Children Programme is a lifeline for those children who have lost their parents or come from disadvantaged families. These families are often headed by grandparents or guardians who rely on Social Grants. They face a unique set of challenges, and the annual Christmas party is a moment of joy and respite for these children.

Hermanus Rainbow Trust is reaching out to the community and all those with generous hearts, asking for support to make this event a success.
They aim to provide Christmas presents and refreshments for 300 children, and your assistance can help them achieve this goal.
Your Contribution is Needed
There are two ways in which you can help put a smile on the faces of Rainbow Kids:
1. In-Kind Donations: If you have items that could bring joy to these children, such as toys, games, or other gifts, your in-kind donations are greatly appreciated.
2. Financial Donations: Financial contributions, no matter the size, go a long way in ensuring that the event is memorable. Your cash donations will help purchase gifts and refreshments for the children.
