These are the essential ingredients required by any and all competitive surfers of any age but especially at these athletes’ age when the foundation for future success is formed. Hanru needs to be commended by all of his fitness colleagues at Proactive Fitness for his innovative ideas and for the hours of preparation and research that most certainly precedes all of his coaching sessions. In my opinion, Hanru literally embodies the definition of what it means to be a “proactive” coach.
