GET MONTHLY MUNICIPAL ACCOUNT BY E-MAIL OR SMS
With effect from 1 July 2023, Overstrand residents receive municipal accounts by e-mail or SMS.
Ratepayers who do not have an e-mail address, can get their municipal account statement via SMS notification.
To activate the SMS service, visit your closest municipal rates hall to update your details. Remember to include your account number when requesting this service.
Only one cell phone number per household/account will be accommodated.
SMS municipal account messages will also contain a link on which you must click to display your account if your phone has this function.
Should you prefer to receive your account by e-mail, send a request to enquiries@overstrand.gov.za with your contact details and account number.
