Hermanus Rainbow Trust’s Children’s Uplift Programme

Our Children’s Uplift Programme is dedicated to breaking the cycle of illiteracy for vulnerable children. Through the combined efforts of teachers, social workers, community development assistants, volunteers, and parents, we aim to foster a life-long love of reading and learning. By empowering children with literacy skills and socio-emotional support, we’re opening the door to a brighter future.

Our Mission:

To build a strong reading culture by engaging parents to motivate their children, enhance literacy skills, and support the well-being of children from under-resourced communities.

Our Goal:

To nurture children who grow into self-sufficient, productive, and contributing members of society.

Together, we’re building a foundation for lasting change.
