Beatrice Becker Celebrates her 101st Birthday
Local resident, Beatrice Becker, was delighted by surprise visitors as she is celebrating her 101st birthday today, 12 May 2021, at her house in Vermont, Hermanus.
Ward 13 Councillor, Jean Orban, said he was glad to be able to congratulate tannie Beatrice on achieving her 101st birthday.
"A big thank you to the community that has helped to celebrate this wonderful occasion”. He thanked the Grade 2A class from Curro for their beautiful card as well as Gateway SuperSpar for the special birthday cake.
“It is wonderful to see how the community can come together and celebrate such a special occasion", he said.
Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dudley Coetzee, joined in the birthday celebrations by handing over a bouquet of flowers to the birthday girl.
