Remembrance Month Campaign
A warm welcome to Andrea Snyman who has volunteered to join our PROactive Fitness marketing team to assist us with launching a trial multi-media campaign starting in November with our war memorial ‘Remembrance Month’.
Lest we forget, Remembrance Month is to honour the sacrifice of all those brave men and women who have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life with their lives. The red poppy is a sign of both remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Remembrance Day (also called Armistice Day or Poppy Day) is a Memorial Day celebrated every year on November 11th.
The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11 am on 11 November 1918.
At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month - we will remember them.
