What is blue light and how does it affect your skin?
HEV or blue light is a high-frequency, short-wave light, the majority of it comes from exposure to the sun but it's also emitted by devices such as smartphones, tablets and TVs. Blue light is known to penetrate the skin, damaging the essential proteins and resulting in wrinkles and loss of firmness. It contributes to premature ageing, pigmentation, cell shrinkage and photodamage.
