CPF/SAWS March Against Animal Cruelty

On Saturday, 31 August, nearly 40 Stanford residents marched to demand stronger action against animal cruelty. Starting at the Stanford Community Hall, the march moved through Stanford South and North, ending at the Police Station where a letter was handed to the Acting Station Commander. A huge thank you to the students from Okkie Smuts and EduDen for their support with the posters!

Blanket and Food Drives

• Onrus Retirement Village: Generous donations of food, blankets, and feeding bowls are helping us support 25 more animals in need.

• Karien Visagie Attorneys: We received a donation of blankets to distribute to community dogs and cats. Special thanks to Chanelle Bezuidenhout and Robert Stewart for their support!

Volunteer Training

Seven volunteers completed an intensive two-day training with Sister Hilda Mills from Ebervets, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of animal welfare. This training will be held annually to enhance our team's skills.

Appeal for Support

Our feeding program is vital to keeping over 100 animals healthy. We need your help to continue this essential work. Donations of money or supplies are greatly appreciated. Our shop is also in need of items, so please consider donating your clothes and household goods.

Open Day at the SAWS Cattery

Join us on Heritage Day, 24 September, from 10 am to 3 pm at our newly completed cattery. Meet our adorable kitties and consider adopting one of these special pets!
