Food Relief in Stanford

Our village food relief efforts kicked off on the 13th of April 2020. We are on the move and determined!

Three village organizations, The Stanford Foundation, Stanford Rotary and Food 4 Thought have partnered our efforts to tackle food relief in Stanford. We aim to feed as many people as our joint funding efforts will allow. Village volunteers have set up the packing venue and our first 115 parcels were delivered to our informal settlement, Die Kop. Two, storage garage units have been made available to us by Stanford Storage 4 All, which is fabulous news and with all fingers and toes crossed we hope our funding support will allow for us to buy all dry ingredients in bulk and store.

As mentioned at the beginning of this post we are determined and driven by the support we receive.
