27 000 Meals Served To Date

Due to generous donations received from local farmers, Stanford residence, funders both locally and from abroad, Food 4 Thought together with volunteer Street Cooks and volunteer Chefs at the central kitchen situated at Die Kop informal settlement have served  27 000 meals to date.

This dedicated team of volunteers started serving meals on  29 April 2020. Today we were joined on the street by the ladies who have been making masks. They distributed masks at two food distribution points and the children were especially thrilled to receive their very own mask. A big shout out to  IMed Vision, the Do Good mask project, our local business Kiwi Net and the amazing Grootbos Foundation for this much needed and necessary initiative.
