Pikkewyntjies Newsletter Summary - May 2025

This month’s Pikkewyntjies newsletter celebrates community, creativity, and care. A highlight was the generous donation of 20 scooters by a group of retired Navy men, coordinated by Trevor (dad to Zack and Neo), bringing joy and developmental fun to the children. Winter's arrival was felt in frosty mornings, but laughter warmed the classrooms.

Classes explored exciting themes, from maths with clay and patterns to painting, fruit learning, and even science experiments like frog whistles and ladybug crafts. Mother's Day was celebrated with handmade cards, and birthdays were joyfully marked.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all donors, from individuals to local businesses, and to everyone supporting the second-hand shop. The wishlist includes paint, carpets, a small toilet, tools, and a weed eater.
