The shed is now a very pretty colour but visitors standing at the gate saw only that, until Juffrou Zaan asked Di and Malcolm Hunter to co-ordinate an idea of hers to change that.
Malcolm and Di are exceptionally good friends of Pikkewyntjies Preschool and they didn't hesitate to agree to undertake the assignment. Di drew the tree and Malcolm helped her with the task of painting the large trunk and spreading branches.
Then it was the turn of the children to stand on plastic crates to choose a branch tip and give it a flower with their hand print. Di carefully painted each child's name next to her or his addition. Everyone liked Di's idea.
