Ink & Paper for Schoolwork

The teachers of the Mooi Uitsig children already attending Primary School and High School are now sending their schoolwork to them via WhatsApp. The children then send it to Zaan at Pikkewyntjies because she has the facilities to print it for them. Sometimes it runs to many pages.

The children would probably be very glad to drift up to the school in groups to collect their tasks but the Pikkewyntjies staff deliver them to ensure, for reasons you can guess that that doesn’t happen.

The time and effort this procedure absorbs is not a problem because if it’s for the kids the staff willingly undertake extra work. The problem is all this daily printing uses ink and paper which adds up to quite a lot of ink and paper.

Judging by what I’ve read, the effects of the COVID Lockdown have left almost all of us poorer than we were so I imagine it’s not likely there are too many Overstranders able to donate ink cartridges and packs of printing paper right now.

I do want to pick your brains though, if I may, please?

a) Do you know a reliable place where we can get a Lexmark x464 toner refilled?

b) Do you know where we might be able to get a discount, even a small one on packs of A4 white paper - because of the situation in which we find ourselves?

If you do, please will you do us a kindness and contact us.

Thank you, in anticipation that you might be able to help.
