Funded by Our February 2025 Yearly Challenge
What a difference a month makes, and it’s all thanks to YOU! Your support during our February 2025 Yearly Challenge helped us make a big impact in just four months.
Here’s what we’ve been able to do:
What You Made Possible:
• Stationery Sets - 32 primary and 17 secondary learners are fully equipped for 2025!
• Shoes and Clothing - 49 kids got new schoolbags, shoes, raincoats or jerseys.
• Afrikaans Literacy - 14 kids learning to read through fun, play-based sessions.
• Sheltered Kitchen Play Area - kids can now play even on rainy days!
Still in Progress:
• Bus maintenance (our old bus needs regular fixing)
• Front stoep - chipping and screeding done, painting still needed
• Volunteer fuel - R500 needed for one volunteer’s transport
Coming Up Next:
• KC Koala Anti-Bullying Show - R1,500
• Play Area Grass Treatment - R2,500
• Giraffe House Outing - R3,600
• Front Gate Replacement - R15,000
• Roof Over Passage - cancelled
Capital Projects Completed:
• Wendy House Replacement - R49,256
• Nutec Wendy converted into 2-3yr Classroom - R47,469
