International Coastal Clean-up Day

Please support this voluntary clean-up by joining us at die Plaat on 17 September. Meet at the parking lot at Spookhuis, Mosaic if you would like to make use of the shuttle service generously donated by Mosaic Private Sanctuary. Alternatively, meet at the dune on the Fishing Trail at die Plaat if you have a 4x4. Please bring your own bin bag which will be brought back to Stanford. Let's club together to keep our coastline clean and safe for all our treasured marine life.

Fresh goats cheese, ready-made meals, Scotch eggs, fudge, decadent gluten free cakes, caramel popcorn, sliced ginger, goji berries, cranberries, dried apricots, pitted dates, pecan nuts, pies, gluten-free quiche, veggie patties, hand spun wool died with natural ingredients, farm eggs, crunchies, shortbread, fresh farm grown vegetables, heirloom seedlings, jams & chutneys, pickles, chilli sauces, Erwin’s salamis and cold meat. The new Ciabatta oven is still being built and Elsa will be away for 5 weeks.

As we have a limited supply of eggs, you can contact Marietjie (076 363 9197) to confirm which day you would like to collect. Please will you be kind enough to bring your empty egg boxes to the laundrette for reuse?

Mosaic has a whole new scrumptious menu which includes garlic prawns, soups, sizzling pepper steak, Mumbai lamb curry, calamari, medallions of pork fillet and our famous Mosaic beef or vegetarian burgers. Please enquire about our smoked Southern Style BBQ menu, inspired from Tennessee and Texas (pulled pork, beef brisket and chicken - menu changes), mixed with spices and homemade bread from Southern Africa. Vegetables are gathered daily from Mosaic’s organic garden and roasted or put into salads. The yummy cheese and meat platters and desserts are still on the menu.
This is a casual affair. Outdoor seating is on the patio, or at picnic tables on the Lagoon edge or under Milkwood trees. Indoor seating is also available. A Boules court provides hours of fun. The 1892 Spookhuis can be reached by boat at their jetty. Wine cellar, craft beer, Health juices, full bar, selection of Jack Daniels.
