Sightings: Bronze Whaler Sharks, Broadnose Sevengill, a Short-tail Stingray and African Penguins
Summary: An early start for our first trip, with brilliant wildlife sightings to pay it off! We were lucky enough to have 2 shark species join us today, the beautiful Bronze Whalers and even a Broadnose Sevengill. Our sightings did not stop there, with a large Short-tail Stingray accompanying divers in the water, staying throughout the excursion and allowing all a fantastic sight of the world's largest marine stingray species! To top it all off, our journey back to the harbour included an encounter with the endangered African Penguin residents of Dyer Island. Overall, it was a successful trip that showcased the amazing diversity of Gansbaai's waters. Thank you to all who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you onboard with us!
