Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail Stingrays + Cape Fur seals
Summary: Blue skies before the storm! Departing Kleinbaai Harbour, the weather cleared as we made our way to the shallows, where divers dressed into wetsuits to prep themselves for an up-close experience with multiple marine species. Our guests had the chance to have a close look at the amazing Bronze Whaler shark. 2 Short-Tail stingrays also made an appearance. Curious Cape fur seals actively navigated around the cage, demonstrating their curious and playful nature. For our last trip on the day we had incredible shark activity, with three different Bronze whaler sharks and two Short-tail Stingrays. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Marine Dynamics. It was a pleasure sharing these sightings with you!
