Benguela Accommodation has recently opened a new function venue under the banner of one of Gansbaai’s most recognisable brands, Benguela. The spacious venue overlooks Walker Bay and the Hermanus lights, creating a magical atmosphere, and making the Benguela Venue ideal for both daytime and nighttime functions.
To celebrate the opening of Benguela Function Venue, Benguela Accommodation hosted the 70th birthday of Freddie Engelbrecht. Freddie is the father of venue owner, Jonathan Engelbrecht so this party was set to be the event of all events.
The dining room was abuzz with fun and laughter as Freddie’s family and friends rejoiced in the memories he created with each of his loved ones over the years, and how he had made a difference in each of their lives.
Each attendee was treated to a gourmet meal that was an explosion flavor in their mouths. The melt-in-the-mouth fillet was paired with a robust red wine that had everyone singing “happy birthday” with a whole lot of gusto.
Both the grand opening of Benguela Function Venue and Freddie Engelbrecht’s 70th birthday was a resounding success and more special memories will soon follow.
