Recipe: Hawaiian Summer Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 500gr Spaghetti
- 50 ml Cooking Oil
- 800g Steak Strips
- 100 ml Sweet and Sour sauce
- 1kg Hawaiian stir fry
- 1tsp Salt
- 1tsp Pepper
- 2tsp Sugar
- 2 Onions, sliced in thin rings
- 1 Green pepper, sliced in thin strips
Method
- In a large frying pan, fry the onion and green pepper on medium heat until slightly browned.
- Add the steak strips and fry until cooked on the outside.
- Add salt, pepper and sugar and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add the vegetables to the pan and stir fry on high heat until vegetables are cooked and all moisture has cooked away.
- Cook the spaghetti as per instructions on the packet until al dente (cooked but firm).
- Now add the cooked spaghetti and the sweet and sour sauce; mix everything together and simmer for about 2 minutes before serving.
