Meet our artists for the evening:
More guest artists will be added as we get closer to the date.
Lorraine van Wyk
Lorraine van Wyk’s artistic style is contemporary portrait photography combined with impasto style paint on her human canvas.
From a young age, she demonstrated a natural propensity for fine drawing and painting.
Her work appears in private collections in England, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Germany.
Read more about Lorraine here.
Linda Pretorius
Linda Pretorius (nee Budde) is a self-taught artist from De Kelders. Linda's preferred medium is oils and draws her inspiration from the beautiful surrounds.
Linda has been exhibiting with us since the beginning of our "First Thursdays" concept and continues to bring in new and exciting artworks every month.
@plasticsareforever
Local resident environmental artist @plasticsareforever collects plastic pollution from our Cape Whale Coast beaches and uses it to create inspiring, innovative art pieces.
Blue's focus is to raise awareness about plastic pollution globally through her artworks.
Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues, as the rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with the ongoing issue.
Chris Groenewald
Overberg-based artist Chris Groenewald has been honing his painting skills over the past several years. Originally studying Environmental Sciences, Chris soon blended his two passions, nature and creativity while studying and working in China.
Chris likes to create colourful abstract art using elements of thought from his daily life for his composition. His works include portraits, landscapes and still life paintings.
