5 Questions to Ask Your Painter Before the Holidays!
November is a busy time for painting projects, with many homeowners wanting their homes looking their best before the holidays.
Before accepting a painting quote, make sure you ask these five important questions:
• How will the walls be prepared? Cleaning, filling and priming are important steps before painting.
• Which products will be used? Make sure the quote specifies the primer, topcoat and number of coats.
• What happens if it rains? Exterior painting needs suitable weather conditions and enough drying time.
• Is there a warranty? Ask about the warranty conditions and whether it needs to be registered.
• What maintenance is needed afterwards? Find out when the walls can be cleaned and how to keep the finish looking good.
A good paint job starts with proper preparation and the right products!
