Fick's Tidal Pool Overview:
Fick's Tidal Pool is cradled between rocks and overlooks Walker Bay.
The pool was built in 1933 and over the years, was extended to 50 metres, its height raised, and a diving board added. Since then, it has been a spot for families, or youngsters that want to meet with their friends, show off their diving skills, cool off, and enjoy romantic trysts over the summer holidays.
Surrounded by rocky faces and sheltered from the wind, Fick’s Tidal Pool is an idyllic spot to spend a hot summer’s afternoon or to do a few laps early in the morning. One can also enjoy magnificent sunsets from the rocky outcrops or take a stroll along the paths and enjoy the breathtaking views of the bay from above the pool.
