Staalwater MTB Challenge 2016

This year celebrates the 7th edition of the Staalwater MTB Challenge hosted in Caledon. Taking place over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of September, the Challenge starts from the Caledon Casino, Hotel and Spa.

This year the event will include a 2-day mountain biking option as well as additional 40 km and 60km options on the Saturday. Riders can choose whether they would prefer to ride on only one day or to take part in the whole weekend. The Saturday morning kicks off the trail run which includes 7km and 15km options.

So whether you decide to only do one race or stay for the whole weekend, you will not be disappointed. The hosting Caledon Casino, Hotel and Spa is offering a variety of entertainment for young and old with a kiddies play area, great food stalls, jumping castles, a fully licensed and stocked bar and more. The town itself also puts on quite the show as Spring time in Caledon signals endless fields of bright, flowering canola and frolicking lambs in the fields.
