Golfing in Caledon
Surrounded by golden fields of barley and wheat, set against the backdrop of the Swatberg Mountains, is the little town of Caledon. The town continues to draw visitors with its famous hot springs, scenic environment, reputed small-town hospitality, epic hiking trails and a wonderful 9-hole golf course to boot.
The course features a lush eucalyptus forest that poses a challenging obstacle for 5 of the 9 holes, so be sure to bring along your trusty rough iron. After a round, make use of the men’s or ladies dressing rooms and showers before enjoying a celebratory drink at the bar. If you’d like you make use of the squash court facilities you’ll need to book in advance.
The 73-par golf course is open from 8:00 – 21:00 in summer and from 9:00 – 21:00 in winter. The club hall is available for functions with a fully equipped kitchen and braai area available.
