Tours

Overberg Aviation offers a host of aerial tours that include but are not limited to:

Whale Watching

Flight Time: usually 30-minutes (can be tailored as per request)

Embrace the breathtakingly beautiful Walker Bay from above as you view Southern Right Whales frolicking off the coastline of the Overberg. These gentle giants of the ocean migrate from the icy waters of the Arctic to our warmer Southern African waters to give birth to their calves. The months from July through to December see visitors from all over the world flocking to witness what is surely one of the most spectacular shows on earth. Reserve your unique front row seats for this memorable event.

Picnic in the Peaks

Flight Time: Flight time: 45-minutes
Trip duration: Approximately three hours

Imagine owning an endless view of Mother Nature's spectacular beauty as you relax on a mountaintop, enjoying a delicious picnic - having been carried to the peaks by helicopter!
Pre-select your food and drink and let the crew do the rest. This fairytale trip will live in your heart forever and is perfect for romantic adventurers.

Sunset and Sunrise Trips (helicopter and aeroplane options)

Flight Time: 30-minutes

Greet the day at dawn while you marvel at the true beauty and splendour of our beautiful planet.  If rising before the rooster crows is a little too early for you then enjoy a sensational sundowner flight so that you can witness a truly magical African sunset. Pack your camera, as you will experience a photo opportunity bar none.

Wine Tasting Tours

Flight Time and Trip Duration: Varies according to tour

Why drink and drive when you can be flown in style and safety? Spend the day sipping on award-winning wines from some of the most celebrated wine farms in the region.
While we have our own favourite helicopter wine tours, you’re free to put together your ideal route!

Adventure Tours

Flight Time and Trip Duration: Varies according to adventure

Spend the day being flown by helicopter to some of the most exciting adrenalin activities in the Overberg. Enjoy the thrill of zip lining, river rafting, horse riding, kloofing, quad biking or any other activity that blows your hair back! After the adventure, we’ll fly you to a well deserved and relaxing lunch at a selected restaurant in the area, after which the fun continues.
